The number of kidnappings currently reported is several thousand per year and the trend is increasing at an alarming rate. Even more frightening is the fact that this phenomenon is spreading geographically, rapidly moving from being a purely regional problem to a global threat. In the past, Latin America was the most notorious area for kidnappings, but now Asia, Africa and the Middle East have become just as dangerous. Therefore, if you are traveling or living in a high-risk area, continuous training, preparation and awareness regarding this type of threat become an absolute necessity. Furthermore, it is estimated that less than 20% of all kidnappings are reported to the authorities, due to fear of reprisals or a belief of futility.

Our course is focused on the physical and psychological components to be able to survive in a situation of very high risk, actively working from within to increase the probability of liberation through effective negotiation techniques.
